Inaugurated on March 14, 2003, Agora Shopping Center is named after the ancient word `AGORA` which means bazaar, market, or trading place. Since its opening in 2003, the shopping center, which is the pioneer of customer satisfaction and quality service, is the dynamic and innovative address of fashion and entertainment in the Izmir region.

On September 10, 2008, the number of shops increased from 85 to 178, the shop area from 13,210 m² to 28,342 m², the indoor area from 41,000 m² to 89,000 m², and the indoor parking capacity increased to 1,355 vehicles.
