Hermitage Museum
The Old Military School was built in the 20s of the 19th century as a building in the style of Russian Neo-classicism. Initially, the monument had two floors, but in the 30s of the 20th century, the third floor was attached. From the 20s of the 20th century, the building housed the Tatar-Bashkir Military School, later the Kazan Infantry School, and the military garrison of the Kazan Kremlin.
According to the restoration project, the cornice and architectural details were made, the roofing was replaced and the windows and doors were filled with wood. The design of the building rooms was planned to be used as the Museum of Painting and Art, the Picture Gallery, the Museum of the Great Patriotic War and the Geological Mineralogical Museum of Kazan State University.
